Or it may have been made for an infant or a child as it only measures 1 ¾” diameter. The color is classic mutton fat with its silky soft white coloration. It is almost impossible to determine the exact age of the piece – to be safe we will date it to the late 19th to early 20th century, Qing dynasty.
