A very charming little stone head of a doll from Thailand - mid to late 17th century. The stone appears to be either a form of granite or sandstone - although it seems to be sturdier than sandstone. The head is of a small boy with a delightful smile on his face. There may be a faint hint of traces of paint that has worn off over the centuries - or that could just be the natural patina that has developed.
