The footed cup measures 3 ¼” diameter at the top and stands 1 ½ “high. There is an impressed signature in the center of the foot which we have been unable to translate. The piece is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. Dates from the 1990s. The bowl comes in its original signed box. This process of joining two pieces of a pot is known as luting. The word "luting" implies the use of a moldable substance to seal a space or to cement two components together.
