The colors and glazing are classic Tang green and gold, however, the total lack of any ground-in dirt or wear to the design indicates that it is a 20th century piece. Nonetheless, it has a great deal of charm. The piece measures 7" high by 10" long by 4 ¼” wide. Excellent condition.

Interesting and fine Chinese miniature pottery ruyi scepter. Measures 6 3/4" in length, 2" wide and 1 1/4" deep. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Probably dates from the late 19th century but could even be early twentieth century. There is a Qianlong impressed mark on the back, however we feel sure it is an honorific mark and that the piece is not of the period. We particularly like the faux lapiz look to the center "stone" on the top of the piece ma ...click for details
