Here we have a nice simple globular shaped jug with a pale tan crackle finish and a loosely painted series of four intersecting blue loops and bands at the shoulder. We are sure it is Southeast Asian in origin, but cannot pinpoint the exact country - it could be Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnamese or even Indonesian. Regardless, it is a fine piece of folk pottery.

This is an unusual small handled pitcher glazed with a dark olive green glaze with a relief design in whites and tans. We have not been able to pin down its country of origin - it appears to be either Southeast Asia or the Middle East. We would guess it to date from the early 20th century. The unglazed bottom of the pitcher has a four character mark which we have never seen before. The pitcher measures 2 3/4" high by 1/2" diameter and is in excellent condition.
