| A folk craft Korean lacquered wood candle stand with original ceramic oil cup. The tall slender support carved and reticulated overall, surmounted by a wide circular recessed stand to snugly fit the small pottery oil bottle, all rising from the center of the recessed circular outline base with irregular rim. Dating from the early to mid 19th century, it is rare to find these pieces with the original oil jar still accompanying its stand. Shipping measurements: Height 14 3/4 inches, base diameter 8 1/2 inches; oil bottle diameter 2 5/8 inches. Condition: Some lacquer wear from usage. | ||||||||
