| A unique and rare multi-color stone bottle carved with flatten front and back surfaces. The bottle consists of carvings on five sides including the bottom (a well defined raised footing). It exhibits natural red color on the sides with white base that imitates the color of hornbill bottles. The surface has a jade-like feeling. Extremely rare. The bottle is well hollowed and is in mint condition. Measures 2 3/4'" high including the stopper and is 1 5/8" wide by 1 1/8" thick. The stopper is a lovely green/gold stone attached to a metal spoon. Dates to the late Qing Dynasty, last half of the 19th century. | |||||||||
