| Very handsome Japanese studio pottery tall cylindrical vase - decorated in muted vertical stripes of medium blue and olive green - over a buff color ground that has dappling of darker tan. Signed with an incised signature on the base. This fine piece could date anywhere between 1920 and 1960 - I lean toward an earlier date. Excellent condition with no chips, nicks or problems. The difference in colors that can be seen in the photos was caused by different lighting conditions - I took two photos with flash and two without to attempt to get the colors as accurate as possible. | |||||||||
