| This is an early - circa 1820 -1868 - Shino serving dish with a thick white glaze which is crackled over a subtle and elegant iron oxide pattern of grasses and fiddle head ferns. The form is a slightly rounded square with indentations at the four corners. Impressed mark at the recessed base. Height, 2 1/4in. Diameter, 4in. Very good condition - no cracks or repairs, a tiny flake at rim. Some dirt at the base. | |||||||
