| Very delicately carved dark blue/purple overlay Peking Glass bottle – the front and back each deeply carved in the shape of a stylized gui (mallow) flower - on a golden honey-like semi-translucent base. On the two thinner sides stalks of bamboo have been carved from the overlay glass. Well hollowed. Mint and original condition. We date this bottle to the late 19th to early 20th century, Qing dynasty. Height: 5.75 cm, Width: 4.50 cm. | |||||||||||
