| A very beautiful 19th century Japanese Meiji period terracotta figure. The piece is a fine sculpture of the Rice Gods - probably a temple piece. In splendid condition and possessing a marvelous patina. This interesting piece is 7 1/4"(18,5cm) high and 4 1/2"(11cm) wide. Excellent condition. There is an extensive dedication in Kanji on the back of the sculpture - probably detailing the names of the donors and the dates - however, I am unable to provide a translation. An impressed signature on the base. | |||||||
