A Japanese Pottery Chawan (tea bowl) - Meiji
A Meiji period Japanese pottery tea bowl (Chawan) with a tannish glaze and an underglaze decoration of a flowering blossom on a limb - we think possibly a plum blossom signifying Spring. The chawan measures approximately 5" diameter at the top and stand 3" high. It is in excellent condition. <
