| This is a rounded shoulder Chinese porcelain vase with thick glaze in two colors. The lower layer is a dark reddish orange and the second color is a rich dark green. Together they combine into an abstract design of intertwined vines and flower - while the upper and bottom area have a series of lappets to frame the vines design. The vase measures 7 1/4" high and is 5" diameter. It has no top cover to the vase - nor does it appear that there ever was one as there is no rubbing or wear to the white rim. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or restorations. We date it to the mid 20th century. | |||||||||
