| Japanese Pottery Conical Shaped Chawan or Teabowl. Rich deep velvet brown glaze with Sienna & Cocoa colored bands at the rim. Sprinkled allover with either a gold dust or yellow flickered effect, see photos. Condition is excellent, no damage whatsoever, see photos. Measures approximately 7 7/8 inches across in Diameter Wide by 3 inches High. Wonderful for display, Nice Example. Great size and coloration, has generous scale and pleasing proportions. Not at all sure of the age on this one - could be as early as the late Meiji period to as recent as the 1970s - I was just attracted by the beauty of the shape and the glaze. Not signed. | ||||||||
