This is a fairly good sized Japanese mid-Showa Period soft green cloisonne vase. It has a hidden design of a band of flowers under the green outer color which starts just under the shoulder of the vase and extends downward about 4” towards the base. The vase has chrome rims and is not signed. We date it to the middle Showa period, most probably around the 1950s. The vase measures 8 3/4"H by 4 1/2" diameter at its widest. It is in excellent condition.
